8 hour racing, that followed our christmas party.

Ourimbah, wow that place is a very fine location for a laid back 8 hour event. Some spectacular singletrack, and ridiculously fast descents. The team from Wannaride had done a flawless job putting on the JP Morgan Sydney Spring Fat Tyre Festival. We loved the relaxed atmosphere.

The photo's are of our not-so-fast transitions, whilst posing for a photo, the white short clad Hamish Elliot from Rockstar blasted through the pits forcing Mick to chase him down and attempt to match his pace for a lap. He did it, but that was about it for the day, and Hamish was doing the day solo...
And Chris Wilson from Wannaride working the mic, so smooth.

Eww.. The christmas party..

AMB How-To DVD!

Would you like to learn how to improve the fine art of shredding mountain bikes? Would you like Chris and Mick to break it down on your television screen? It's on the way, filming started this week.

Check out how pro Chris looks as he explains to the camera how to approach and gain speed through a bermed corner.

Every aspect of trail skills will be be covered, keep an eye out. With the man Josh Stephenson and the guys from Black Phoenix Films producing the DVD we look like filmstars!

Chris' freestyle music video coming soon... (hope not.)

Peace out!

Done.. Whats next!

The rad new Dec/Jan issue is off and away to printing world, it looks phenomenal. Now we are motoring through the 'Places That Rock' special edition. It's looking to be a great read, only wishing it was twice the size due to all the great trail destinations we have in Australia! It's so great to hear about all the new mountain bike parks popping up, and the large amount of clubs getting involved with trail building and maintenance. We are inspired more than ever to explore interstate this summer, we hope you do too.

The next few weeks for us are pretty busy with new bike testing, a shame..

Check out whats coming up!

Currently in our office is the new BMC Trailfox, SantaCruz Blur LT2, the Pivot Mach 5, Gary Fisher Roscoe, and 6 new 160mm light freeriders for the shootout from: Commencal, Norco, Merida, Kona, Jamis and Specialized. We are also testing (punishing) the new Specialized Demo 8, Sam Hills new 09 race rig. Stay tuned, Keep it real. Keep it firm.
