Muuuuuudddd

What the hell is going on here? We're creating, that's what! We thought we'd give you a quick behind the scenes look at the shooting of the cover for our 2009 Mountain Bike Guide, out in stores at the start of March. Take one brand new, $9000 Ibis Mojo SL, cover delicately in the stickiest, brightest mud you can find, position in photo studio.......cha-ching! We love it.

Capital Punishment

Just caught wind of a new race happening in May, called Capital Punishment. We make no secret here of loving the trails in and Canberra. Finally someone is giving us a chance to race them all, in a day! Pumped. Google it and find out more.

Mick and Chris are off to finalise the How To DVD today, so it's up to Maitland we go to meet with the fellas from Black Phoenix Films. Jordan Cole will be holding down the fort, putting together the 2009 AMB Mountain Bike Guide. Intrigued? We'll tell you more soon!

Back in action!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! AMB hopes you had a good break, rode some sweet trails and didn't get too fat. The AMB crew is back in action; Chris had three weeks in Vietnam eating everything in sight, Mick has just come back from his European tour where he learnt about Germans, and Jordan headed north to vomit on the barrier reef. Fantastic stuff. We're all unfit and overwight now so many a new year's resolution has been passed and WE WILL GET FIT again. Lots of riding to be done, new trails to be explored and good times to be had, we can't wait. Bring on those late afternoon rides, oh yesssss.

On the mag front things are looking great! The Places that Rock special edition is on shelves and is generating a lot of excitment - who ever knew that Oz held so many fantastic trails!? Keep your eyes peeled for the February/March issue too - we've just seen the preprint approval and it looks great - it'll be on the shelves of a newsagent near you in two weeks time!

We've also commenced work on our 2009 Mountain Bike Guide, your ultimate guide to choosing the right bike for your riding style and trails this year. It'll be on shelves at the end of February.

Bye for now, we're going riding.
